I may be experiencing the same. It appears whether the backseat is loaded or not while the car is swaying from side to side - like when making a turn and there are bumps or humps causing the swaying. Not sure though what side the sound is emanating from. Referred it to the casa and after driving around for around 2 to 3 km, they said there is nothing. I wasn't riding with them when they test drove the car.

July 29th, 2017 12:48 AM #4803it might be a perished rubber bushing. the metal parts might already be rubbing against each other.
have the car lifted and examine from below. you can also do it at home, lying on your back. but i prefer the lift. mas maraming makikita sa ilalim.

Can you post a close up pic of your rims and tire? Just like to see the fit (or more of the sidewall form) of the 225 with an 18"x8 rim. As much as possible would like to limit tire width sana. Even the 215/45 baka pwede pa.
I am considering this Toyota design for Lexus GS350 naman daw, mated to Falken ZIEX tires.
Could you say the comfort, and underchassis components, are greatly compromised na with the 40 aspect ratio as compared to the stock 205/55/R16?

August 2nd, 2017 06:35 PM #4806These were included in the quote I requested for my 20K PMS:
1. Silicon Mould - Php 375
2. Injector Cleaner - Php 770
3. Fuel Drier - Php 950
No idea what these are for. Are these items necessary or I can just have them removed?

Kumho Ecsta LE Sport 225/40R18 on 18x8 rims:
Overall tire size is kept the same so there is no detrimental effect on the suspension bits. However, because there's less rubber, the suspension absorbs more of the impact. In my experience, it doesn't lead to significantly quicker wear of shocks and bushings. My 2009 Altis with 17" rims had no suspension problems at 94,000 km when I sold it. Same with my 2015 Altis with 18" rims and 53,000 km.
