Ok lang yan sir, ganyan din ako dati eh. Buti na lang may youtube hehe, pati drop-in filter madali lang din gawin. Tama ka sir wala pa 500 ung filter, pero sa casa nasa 1600 yan and up.

just had may 35k pms done last saturday. yesterday (sunday), 3 friends decided to ride with me and my wife to an event. i heard a creaking sound on the right back side of the car the moment the 3rd occupant seated. when we arrived at the destination, i heard it again when he stood up to get out of the car. going home, i still heard the sound but this time a different friend occupies the seat.

only the right side produces the sound. it is usually me and wife who rides the car. rarely do we have passengers at the back. no feedback of suspension problem during the 35k pms. i tried to replicate the problem at home, alone, by bouncing on the back right seat but can't reproduce. is this a symptom of a shock leak? what else should i look at?
I may be experiencing the same. It appears whether the backseat is loaded or not while the car is swaying from side to side - like when making a turn and there are bumps or humps causing the swaying. Not sure though what side the sound is emanating from. Referred it to the casa and after driving around for around 2 to 3 km, they said there is nothing. I wasn't riding with them when they test drove the car.

it might be a perished rubber bushing. the metal parts might already be rubbing against each other.
have the car lifted and examine from below. you can also do it at home, lying on your back. but i prefer the lift. mas maraming makikita sa ilalim.

Might be tricky to identify, even if you put the car on a lifter. I'm just ignoring it in the meantime.

Can you post a close up pic of your rims and tire? Just like to see the fit (or more of the sidewall form) of the 225 with an 18"x8 rim. As much as possible would like to limit tire width sana. Even the 215/45 baka pwede pa.

I am considering this Toyota design for Lexus GS350 naman daw, mated to Falken ZIEX tires.

Could you say the comfort, and underchassis components, are greatly compromised na with the 40 aspect ratio as compared to the stock 205/55/R16?

These were included in the quote I requested for my 20K PMS:
    1. Silicon Mould - Php 375
    2. Injector Cleaner - Php 770
    3. Fuel Drier - Php 950

No idea what these are for. Are these items necessary or I can just have them removed?

Kumho Ecsta LE Sport 225/40R18 on 18x8 rims:

Overall tire size is kept the same so there is no detrimental effect on the suspension bits. However, because there's less rubber, the suspension absorbs more of the impact. In my experience, it doesn't lead to significantly quicker wear of shocks and bushings. My 2009 Altis with 17" rims had no suspension problems at 94,000 km when I sold it. Same with my 2015 Altis with 18" rims and 53,000 km.

Mukhang me konting stretch din pala sa 225 x 8. It seems 235 talaga ang "better" match fit wise.
Kaya lang mukhang ang lapad talaga at 9.3" as compared to the stock 8.1" tire width.

    Thanks again, master jut703.

Walang stretch bro. 18x8 fits snugly on 225 tires. Another picture:

Is this for your 10th gen? I think 215/45R17 is a better fit, you can use the TRD rims which have a similar design as the rims you showed:
