January 26th, 2017 08:51 AM #4552Hi guys, are there any 11th gen CVT owner here that tried to modified their IHE? I'm carefully planning this now. I don't expect a lot of gains but i'm just looking for more driving spice and not losing low end torque.

January 26th, 2017 06:46 PM #4553I use spotify daily in my commute using the stock HU (G variant 2016) Do you have any songs in the music app? I noticed this in my 2 iphones. In the old ip5 it was showing the song names in spotify because it had a whole album downloaded and I was also able to use the prev/next in the streering wheel but it did not work in my ip7 as I had no songs downloaded in the main music app. Only an error message was appearing when I am using spotify on the ip7. What I did was I synced a couple of songs to the main music app of the ip7 and voila, the names of the songs in spotify now appears along with the prev/next buttons in the steering wheel working again like in the ip5. Hope this helps

Yup I also have songs on my iPod, and the screen updates if I play songs that are saved on my iPod. But if I play music from Spotify, it only shows the first song and even if I forward to the next songs, it's stuck on my first song. 😔

January 27th, 2017 06:21 PM #4555I will have to tinker with spotify some more to check with this issue. Has anybody tried these Heads Up dispaly LED lights plugged via the OBD2 socket? They look awesome and modern. I´m currently trying different apps with my smartphone which are somewhat similar but daylight visibility with the phone screen is really bad. A plus with the apps though is they offer turn by turn navigation.

To better illustrate my Spotify problem:
I initially played Shape of You, then clicked How Far I'll Go. The HU display text is still Shape of You even if it's already How Far I'll Go that's playing.
It's really annoying because I have to look at my iPod to change songs which is distracting while driving.

I'm planning to have rear sensors installed on my car. Our office parking is tandem kasi (2 cars in one slot) and the distance between cars is really small so I have been relying on security to help me when backing up.
I called Toyota Bicutan and the price for 2 eye is 4800 and 4 eye is 5700. Should I get the 2 eye or 4 eye? Also, I am not sure if this is body color kasi. My car is out or warranty already but I read here that it is better to get at the casa.

Have it installed elsewhere for 2000 ... 2 eye sensor is good enough ... if parking in tight spots, a 4 eye sensor will be an annoyance ...
