Went to casa kanina oara icheck status ng car ko.. Hindi nila mapalabas yung tok soynd sa right wheel ko. Miski ako kanina hindi ko napalabas. Ang weird. Yung rear speaker ko naman wala daw available sa planta. Wait daw ako ng 30-45 days. Oorderin pa daw kase..

The old Toyota 1.6 and 1.8 (1ZZ and 2ZZ) engines had a tendency to prematurely develop oil sludge. Best way to avoid it is to have shorter oil change intervals, even with semi synth oil.

how often should do oil change with semi synthetic regardless of mileage? quarterly, semi anualy etc...?
have you heard any prematurely develop oil sludge for gen1 vios as well?

I'd change twice a year even with low mileage. But to each his own. We've tested our oils to run really well even after 15,000 km, but of course you don't wanna push it.

I read about those Vioses with sludge issues kuno. Parang nakisabay lang sa hype nung ZZ sludge dati. Hindi siya widespread and most likely engot lang magmaintain yung mayari. The NZ engine of the Vios has been used since the late 90s until today, wala namang issue na ganun.

Halos pareho tayo ng style, what I do is use odometer trip A, I reset it every time magpapakarga ako ng gasoline. Nirereset ko din yun mileage display para specific for that refill yun nakikita ko.

I downloaded an app using this method. The app is called gas logger. You just input the odometer reading, amount and price per liter.
