Did anyone receive a letter on the recall for the Power Window Master Switch Assembly? Toyota sent me a letter and they picked up my vehicle at home.

I am really impressed with Toyota's service! My car is 8 yrs old and I never thought they would bother considering they are selling vehicles like hotcakes.

And this is why my next vehicle will still be a Toyota

Had mine replaced by Toyota Cubao (where the car was purchased). Took a month for the approval, then sinabihan ako to bring the car to the dealership once the parts arrive. Replacement took 1 day. (Left the car overnight).

Sorry I dont know how to post photos here. Ayaw mag upload from my computer hehe

Usually, "safety" related recalls like airbag, fire hazzard stuffs, faulty brake or steering, etc. are of high priority. In your case, maybe your faulty P/W switch, at right circumstances can heat up and cause fire, etc...

If di naman, like faulty aircon compressor or melting dashboard, deadma lang sila. Or they will just issue TSBs or SSMs or what they call silent recall and wait lang nila mag reklamo si customer and cover sa warranty if di pa lapse...

I vividly recall an incident decades ago wherein my new car's throttle position sensor (TPS) was stolen while it was being serviced at Toyota Cubao for water leaks on the driver-side flooring. And to think that the SA knew that one of their directors was a family friend of ours...

I sincerely hope that they are better today.
