If you're on a budget, OEM 16's from the Gen 10 V are nice then add a 2.0 mesh grille and rear courtesy lamp. 17s are still good even if you load up the car well and go out of town, i do this on mine and run the car at 34-35psi. With 17's i'd recommend 215/50R17 tires (not 215/45R17 that most put). If you're serious on 17s, baka pag tinoyo ako and I find a nice set of OEM 16s for my ride, i may sell my 17" set at a reasonable price. I was likewise thinking of getting another set of 17"rims (OEM Toyota) pero so far i have not found a good deal, the Scion rims i saw up for sale were kinda pricey.



No need to lower as it does look good already. Also, takaw sayad yung front ng Gen 10/10.5. Plate base na yan... may nagbebenta ng OEM sa clubzz site. :D

EUDM theme ba? Eto basics...

1. Rims from 15" 1.6G, palit ka to 1.6V rims. Dami diyan, mura pa. Keep it OEM eh.
2. RFL (pwede rin DIY tapos spray paint ng transparent red yung puti sa tail light (left side)
3. 2.0V mesh grille (dami din)
4. Super Yellow high beam bulb (Euroline, Solarzen etc..)
5. Super Yellow foglights
6. Osram NBP or Philips XV for low beam
7. OEM sideskirts ng V
8. Rebadge
9. Take out unnecessary stickers (conduction sticker hehe)
10. Tanggal deflector sa plate area, palit ng acrylic plate cover
11. EU plates with frames plus EU plate base sa harap. I think red fraction would be nice

May tinuro na place sa akin so next mission...hanapin yung lugar. paglabas ko nga ng toyota casa dito may nakita ako emblem parang gusto ko na pitikin nakadikit sa car eh hahaha!

On the mesh grille, try Autospecs in Banawe. Sa Sulit malamang meron din.

Eto naman ang hitsura ng faceLifted.na Altis dto. Actually maganda sya tingnan...


Saka kahit 4a/T lang sya. Yung USDM specs i believe na with 1.8li VVTi is rated at 38mpg hiway... Same lang dun sa de-rated na Elantra w/ 6AT. I guess may sikreto pa din tinatago mga hapon na di pa nila na diskobre. Hehe. Ang di ko lang gusto ay parang sumikip ang interior space. Legroom, lalo na kung pareho 5'10" ang naka-upo harap likod... Mas maluwag pa old Altis... Dahil ata kasi pinalaki nila engine bay to accomodate 2.4li... Kaya na sacrifice konti ang cabin space...

Kasama yung red ribbon sa face lift? What's the tire size of the OEM 16's there? 215/55R16 or 205/55R16?

hahaha, yan ang fad dto. pag may new car - tie a red ribbon. its supposed to be for safety and goodluck...hhhhm
mags nya new design din, pero same size as before 205 pa din ...

Meron ako nakita sa cubao, medium grey na 10.5 Altis. Of course alam ko cinonvert siya kasi first of all, walang ganung grey sa 10.5, sa 10th gen lumabas yun eh, tapos phased out kagad. Tapos the plates are a dead give away.

Pero ang ganda ha. 2.0V look, kumpleto eh.

I don't think it's a bad thing to convert to a different look, for as long as the look is consistent and coherent.

Magkano ko nakuha? Wala pang 1/4 ng presyo. Hahaha. Pero syempre, kung OEM talagang iba. Di ko lang talaga malulunok 2.5k para sa emblem. Hahaha.

Last year pa ako nag inquire ng emblem set na yan. I can't justify spending 2.5K for it either... Too bad i did not have time to drop by the Toyota dealer in Kowloon Bay when i went to HK last year. It was already across the Ikea Store i was at but we were running short on time.
