With my 1.6E m/t (gen 10.5), I'm averaging 10km/L plus in city driving. EDSA rush hour. Worst i've gotten was 9.2km/L. Highway i do around 13km/L+. Still expecting it to do better; I havent gotten a chance to go on a real nice long trip where i can really stretch the engine (usually this is a Manila - Baguio - Manila run). Possibly also i'm getting some FC penalty with my 17's running on slightly larger tires.
I contrast, my 9th gen 1.6 m/t does around 9km/L+ in city driving.

With a 2.0V 10th gen, I get 7 km/L in city driving. Edges closer to 6.5 during rush hour EDSA traffic.
11 km/L on the highway if I keep it at 100-120. Drops to 10 km/L when I stay steady at 120 with bursts to 160. Not exactly long drive though, Tagaytay lang.

August 19th, 2012 10:14 AM #1158I'm getting 9-10km/l sa 10.5 gen Altis 1.6V. Ortigas - Commonwealth and back via EDSA.
Separate question -- I was in discussion with a few friends about car look. We know what sporty look means, pano ba pag sinabing "executive look". What does this mean?

Had my 5,000km service done yesterday at Toyota North EDSA. Cost me P1,300+ since the labor was still free. I also like the quick service layout of Toyota North EDSA as it allows you to see the car while they are servicing it.
I don't like the new oil filter design of the ZR engine where only the element is replaced from a fixed canister. Here's how it looks:
This filter element costs P315 and to think, a Baldwin BT233 costs only P 215 at Volmax.
The ZR engine used up 4.3L of oil so i requested Toyota to return the excess (if not, they will not return it) so i only have to buy 4L for my next (10,000km) service stop.
As expected, in response to Tesla’s entry into the Philippines market, Ford will be bringing in the...
