toyota ws is for the newer transmissions. it is low viscosity. it is not backwards compatible with toyota type4. you need type4 equivalent. ano certification ng mobil1 atf? if it meets toyota type4 then its the one you want.

I purchase original Toyota ATF just to be sure. I hate those brand specific transmission fluid ratings nowadays. Dati it was just Dexron/Mercon.

toyota makes money by rebranding dex3 oils as typex oils.

March 23rd, 2017 03:27 PM #8Hi guys, I seem to have a problem with the fuel gauge of my 2010 Altis. When i put gas at night, the gauge is at Full but then the next morning, I start the car and the gauge is now at the 3/4 mark. There is no fuel puddle under the car and no smell of gas inside or outside the car. My car is also parked in a secure place and the car runs smoothly naman. What could be the cause of this problem? Defective gauge?
Thanks in advance!

Toyota's old 4AT is sad. Last night I was driving a 10.5G Altis AT on TPLEX and even though it has the same engine as my 11th gen (3ZR-FE, Dual VVTi, 122 hp), it doesn't have the same top speed nor acceleration.
It tops out at 185 kph because that's the fastest I could go in 3rd gear. By the time it shifts to 4th gear, it's out of the powerband already and the needle just won't creep upward unless on a downhill.
The 11th gen with a 6 speed MT does 200 kph on 5th but even after shifting to 6th it still has a bit of juice left to inch towards 205-210 on a flat road.
