hi fellow avanza owners,

actually its not mine its my dads, just want to know ano po yung stock size, width, offset ng Avanza G.

we own an avanza J and want to upgrade the wheels soon. makapal pa yung goma so we're planning to use up the stock tires then time comes to replace it, get new rims and tires.

We want to keep it stock looking as possible so we're thinking of putting OEM rims and tires from an Avanza G, or get something as close to the specs of the Avanza G.

I think not turning on the aircon immediately after starting a cold engine is a myth. Maybe that is true on old cars but not on today's modern cars. Because if that is still true today, then manufacturers should have stated that in the owners manual. But they don't!

I've been driving a 2008 Avanza for years, turning on the aircon everytime immediately after I start the engine. I experience no problem so far.

Many new models of cars being released today no longer have a temperature gauge. That is another proof that you have nothing to worry about the aircon.

How do I know if i'm about to over heat though without the temp gauge?

When the engine overheats, an indicator will flash in the dashboard.

Have a 1.3 avanza e a/t. My only complaint so far is the obvious shift shock when going through the gears and it sometimes jerks a little bit if you are on a standstill and the transmission is engaged on Drive.

I think its not true for all 4 a/t vehicles. Own a 2011 carens 4 a/t which has no shift shock at all. Even better than my crv. I don't know if it's likewise true for the Vios which I believe share the same platform.

Sir kumusta naman po ang FC ng 1.3 a/t? I am going to get the same variant this week to replace my 5 year old Avanza J.

galing din kami sa baler last saturday (May 5) using my 2010 avanza j, ok naman ang performance sa akyatan considering na full load kami...no hassle un nga lang maalog daw sa 3rd row..so am planning to have a rear stabilizer to minimize body roll...
