catch plate? eto ba yung pinapatungan ng springs? hindi ba delikado pag pinagalaw yun?

Since masyado malambot yung OEM springs ng AE111 na nilabas sa Pinas, subukan mo magpalagay ng rubber lifter na ring type (nakapatong sa catchplate ng strut or against the shock mounting). Nakakabili nun sa banawe. Pakabit mo na lang sa suking suspension shop mo. Height will remain the same pero magiging stiff ng konti. Alam ko meron sila sa new denso.
Wag ka lang maglalagay ng rubber lifter na nakaipit lang in between one of the coils of your rear springs. Di magiging pantay ang spring tension pag ganun ang ginamit mo. At least yung donut type na rubber lifter eh pantay pa rin ang base ng springs mo.
IMHO, that will be the cheapest alternative to your very soft rear springs. It worked for me (dalawa pinakabit ko each).
