just the usual tune-up things. timing, sparking plugs, hi tension cables, oil, etc.
    including the AT box.

    btw,
when you say "mahina ang hatak", from what are you comparing it, po?
totally new user sa tsikot & medyo bagong driver sir,

best to bring it to a qualified shop, for a look-see. in some engines kasi, replacing the sparking plugs and hi tension cables, and tweaking the timing, and the engine runs like new.
in other cars naman, the problem is more deep-seated than that. might i inquire, what's the odometer reading of the car? naka-ilang kilometers na siya, since release from the factory?
also, there's the AT box. it might need some fixin'.

alas, the definition of "qualified shop" is so nebulous, you will probably get confused with the feedback.

    you must forgive,
it is very difficult, dealing with a newcomer to the hobby, because one would be working with near-zero base knowledge. but we have all been there, with no exceptions. we know how you feel.
let us hope someone chimes in to point you in the right direction.
    welcome to the club!
    good luck.

will keep that in mind sir. Sana makahanap ng "legit" auto-shop near San Mateo-Marikina area. as for the odo, 14k+ yung last reading pero God knows kung nakailang reset na since 90s model na corolla.
    Anyway, thanks sa tips sir
