February 28th, 2016 01:57 PM #183Yep... Basically... Front & rear are stretched... Added a bit more power to the engine... Then that's it...

February 28th, 2016 04:38 PM #185This is getting more and more expensive. I like the engine though. Strange how the diesel innova's outgun all but the top fortuner variant.

February 28th, 2016 04:48 PM #186I'm guessing sub 9 second for the 2.8 liter diesel innova's to the century mark. Lots of compacts are going to be obliterated in a straight line. Not to mention practically every single PPV except maybe the LTZ.
Impressive that this new generation innova is getting close to 60hp MORE than the previous generation diesel.

i think the new innova is the new fortuner-killer with its features and 2.8 engine, or the new fortuner is the new innova-killer due to the high price of the innova.
everyone's confused with TMPC's weird decisions lately

Really surprised with the 2.8 engine. If TMPI really did not make mistake in the announcement then this is really counter intuitive to the usual moves its marketing dept has been making for the past ten years.
But the prices has really gone up!
I still think a G variant 2.8 DSL A/T is good buy but that price its already crouching on Mu-X territory (which a proper SUV).

I think the 2.4 engine has some issues hence they came out with the 2.8
I remember some thai posts about a 2.4 engine issue. The thai got a 2.8 as a replacement.
