i really do not intend holding onto these smurfs for a long time... i'm an innova guy!

i wandered into the casa, intending to get my third innova. then i saw this cute car, selling for half my budget... and i fit inside! why not?

so why am i commenting on the wigo's lackluster hill-climbing prowess? because i was so pampered by the D4D and my former car, a gas-guzzling cedia.
dr. d i see that the wigo does do not have climbing prowess, but did it ever quit on you while climbing? could you also comment on its performance driving it in the rain?

no, it did not quit on me while climbing. but i quit on it.. the noise and vibrations... i am just not used to that amount of engine complaining! so i turned off the aircon...
and it drives comfortably enough in the rain. nilusong ko nang kaunti, sidewalk-high.. ok naman. hindi lumutang.. heh heh.
good visibility fore and aft.. i installed a curved rear view, to give me a better behind view..
but my wiper rubbers squeak and shudder... i already replaced 'em, but they still squeak and shudder. i'm gonna clean the glass next..
fuel efficiency is 9+ km/li in the city. my ex.. i usually got 6-7 km/li. so i'm still happy..

he he yan gusto ko malaman puwede rin syang ilusong sa baha he he, so problema lang talaga nya is power, bro overall you still consider it a good buy? how long you will keep it before changing to innova? I am asking these questions as I am looking for a car that I could use forever or as long as possible (10-20 years) and not ever think of reselling it...

guys, i suggest you try out the other cars first.. it's always a good idea to check out the competition.
cars are like clothes.. no such thing as one size fits all.

i got the wigo to be the coding car.. well, it looks like it got the other way around.. the innova is now the coding car..
but i still favor the innova in really bad weather, and when i need a huge luggage space..

    Thanks dr. d

I compared the exterior of Wigo G vs Mirage GLX, the latter has the "bagong kotse" feel, modern. Whilst Wigo has the "bagong luma" feel. It's like a mini-Avanza taxi inside.

When it comes to the exterior naman, I say Wigo has it. Sporty-ish look (eyesore lang ang too much chrome sidings for a female driver though).

I considered Wigo G AT mainly because it's cheaper amongst the subcompact class, additionally because of its safety and security features ( http://m.topgear.com.ph/news/car-new...of-toyota-wigo) that you won't find in Mirage's GLX variant.

But now, after reading about its lack of power when going uphill, I am not sure anymore. Haha Not that may daily route includes uphill, I just don't want to this to be a problem in the long run as I intend to keep the car for > 5yrs.
