The last Philippine "air-superiority" F-8s didn't even carry AIM-9Bs. Hopefully the Koreans won't be stingy in transferring technology like the American were. I wonder if the deal carries a long term supply of parts and spare engines or do we have to cannabalize the 12 units to keep a couple flying like what happened to the S-211s.

June 20th, 2012 04:45 PM #24dapat dyan papasok yung Reverse Engineering and / or Technology transfer kung pwede... so we Filipinos will not have to purchase from them eternally.. even if we cannot manufacture the planes on our own, at least we can support its maintenance.
ang galing Samsung, Daewoo and Hyundai pala yan.... para lang siguro yan Tucson... hehehe
btw, sa korea aside from LED TV's, samsung also have a "samsung car" hehehe
