January 21st, 2015 03:53 PM #781Mas mura sa mga area na malapit sa Rosario, Cavite. Dahil malapit sa fuel depot ng Petron.
Basta malapit sa mga fuel depot, mura. Palayo, pamahal din.

January 21st, 2015 08:26 PM #783^^^ not entirely pero one of the factor ung delivery cost ng fuel to the station, next is rent, second is amenities, third is volume capacity/sales and so on.

Basta may fixed margin sila. Kunwari 1 peso fixed margin nila.
Likewise, pag mataas yung presyo, yung oil company yung gumaganansya and not the retailer.
This is how it works for all branded oil companies.
If you're an independent player (unbranded/generic), you buy from a wholesaler. Eto yung iniisip niyong business model.

Yes, freight rates are different depending on distance from depot. Pero CENTAVOS lang yan. It takes several hundred kilometers to actually incur an additional 1 peso in terms of freight cost.
The pricing of a particular trade area is still ultimately dictated by market forces. Since Bataan-Pampanga area mo before, I'm sure you know na mas mura ang diesel sa Lubao kaysa Balanga even if Balanga is much nearer to Limay/Mariveles where the depots are.
