Suzuki Auto Makati informed me that the tps has no separate part number because it is included in the throttle assembly which is sold as a whole.

That is a bunch bull. Have you checked with team celerio ba sa facebook?

Check with the Indian boards or where ever else the Celerio is being sold or manufactured.

Suzuki Philippines, Inc. e-mailed me that "there are items which are designed to be purchased as an entire assembly due that those parts in an assembly functions as one for the vehicle."

Well, my car has symptoms of a bad TPS, such as jerking at first gear, hesitating/poor acceleration, poor fuel economy (6.5km/l), sudden stalling, hard shifting, rough idle, but I wonder why the check engine light is not blinking. I will try to have an OBD test shortly.

But now that I know of the excessively high price of the tps, I have seconds thoughts kahit ma-confirm pa ng OBD test na sira ang TPS.

Recently repaired a mitsu mirage of my friend. Same symptoms of jerking at reverse. Sudden stalling. No check engine light. Yung lower engine compartment niya meron maraming wires nasira ng daga. Rewiring lang lahat. It is now back to normal. I recommended him to use racumin tracking powder. First pack has killed half a dozen rodents

A surprising thing happened when I removed the air temperature sensor located on the hose connecting the air cleaner assy to the throttle, which left a hole about 1-1/2" in dia. The engine suddenly ran smoothly and silently at idle. So, I did not put the sensor back into place. Instead, I covered the hole with foam. Then I drove the car and guess what I experienced - more power and better acceleration.
