June 11th, 2014 10:53 AM #1842Gud day mga sir. Tnx

June 11th, 2014 01:19 PM #1843Hello WeakSpot,
There are some benefits in the FS oil, but if that can be translated into mileage, fuel savings, may not be noticeable. You could go for the semi-synthetics, slightly expensive than mineral oil, but still affordable.
Since I do my PMS with Speedyfix, I use their Royal Purple oils. As for the oil filter, stay with the the stock. The 'Zuki filter cost less than 500 anyway.
Hello APVBoy, enjoy your new ride, Panindigan mo yang alias mo

Hi Straker,
Yah, walang atrasan!
Brought it to Suzuki Cebu today. Ang mahal ng brake pads, Php 7,500 front only. although I got 10% off, mahal pa rin. My past experience with my older car was only 1k for the pair na bendix. According to the service guy, iba daw and pads pag may ABS. and recommended to use genuine pads to preserve the rotor.
They also recommended to change the shock-mount bushings. dun pala galing ung ingay pag rough ung surface.
when they opened the valve cover to replace the gasket, sobrang dumi! di raw nag papa-change oil ung last owner kaya ganon. So....flushing.
Anyway, I'm glad i brought it to the casa. Madugo, pero sigurado.
I'll get it tomorrow afternoon.

June 14th, 2014 05:43 PM #1847I recently replaced my brake pads to bendix, both front and rear. My first misgiving with bendix was it scratched the rotor. Other than that, still okay

June 14th, 2014 09:57 PM #1848I think i spoke too soon.
after the flushing was done and the car was cleaned labas na ko. after a kilometer biglang nag white smoke siya. A LOT of white smoke! went back to the casa (6:00 PM) and had it checked by the service guy. sabi nya really need to take out the cylinder head and clean it. (top overhaul ang term nya).
So frustrated coz i spent 16k today and now iba ang sira.
he tried to rev it and the smoke went away, but when we ran again, balik ulit. SO....balik ulit sa casa on Monday.
would Suzuki treat is backjob since di naman sya ganon when i brought it in?

Ano mileage ng ride mo? That didn't happen to me. Parang pinabayaan ng dating owner.
I just left my ride at Suzuki-Shaw. Strange wirring sounds, similar to the problem I had with the automatic transmission two years ago. Sana di malaki repair bill ko.
