September 23rd, 2013 02:35 PM #32most modern cars are now unibody construction.. except for fender bolts and bumper bolts, there are no "body bolts".
so i suppose these "body bolts" mean the engine support and suspension-related bolts. ?

standard sae and standard metric bolt torque lang naman siguro ang torque values. just google, daming available torque charts sa net.
so that means i maybe buying a torque wrench and a metric socket set. naah, not a set. 12, 13, 14, 17, 19 and 24 mm.

Just want to ask, does the 2000 civic Vti have this? All suspension parts are new but I can still hear "kalampang" on an uneven road, but none on humps.

September 26th, 2013 04:05 PM #39I've experienced this sa Pajero namin na 1993 model. Matatag parin naman hanggang ngayon kahit 20 years old na. We had a suspension change already.

For bolt tightening you can bring your car to any reputable mechanic who understands bolt readings and has a torque wrench. Each bolt indicates on its head what torque it requires then set na lang ng mechanic yung torque sa wrench niya.
