but isn't that "normal"? it is a bigger and heavier vehicle than other vehicles... needs more brakes to brake 'er.
you might open the brakes and take a look, for anything "suspicious".

Puro gasolina pag US. Walang small engine na diesel doon.

Matibay ang Bendix, sa sobrang tibay nya yung rotor ang inuubos. ^_^
Last week nagpalit ako ng brake pads kasi 2 years na yung Bendix halos di pa nangangalahati yung upod.
    Yung rotor ko paubos na.

Yeah I know that, but unlike Bendix which is just a replacement brand, Motorcraft is the 2nd genuine brand of Ford which has certain level of specs and guarantee that it won't eat thru your rotors not like Bendix(Doesn't mean that the brakes eat thru the rotors very fast is equivalent to "Matibay" siya it just goes to show that they are mixing some materials in their brake pad to get more dikit sa rotors), also they don't use too much metals for their brakes which is good for the environment. Also there are no US OEM brand for brakes for US branded vehicles aside from TRW which are selling Made in China brake pads for the aftermarket in the Philippines and it ain't better than Bendix. So when that person asked me which brand is best I just gave him the 2nd genuine brand of Ford. As for Japanese cars if your using Honda then better buy NISSIN since they buy from another OEM manufacturer of brakes but the quality is still maintained since NISSIN is a tier 1 OEM direct supplier to HONDA. But regarding the wheel, brake & clutch assembly they manufacture by themselves.

Baliktad. OEMs are THE part manufacturers. Bosch, Denso, Stanley, and Aisin Seiki are examples of OEMs. They supply parts to vehicle manufacturers, which may or may not rebrand them as their own.
