I've decided to go with the Forester. The challenge is getting the necessary credit approval / paperwork done.
I start my new job on Feb 26 and part of my compensation is a P35k monthly transportation allowance. I can easily cover the DP and monthly payments but it might be tough getting my loan approved. I hear that most banks require at least a year's tenure with your current employer, something i obviously won't have.
I'm supposed to get feedback on my application within the week. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed till then.

February 13th, 2007 11:41 AM #35There are 2 variants available. There's a 2L version for around 1.2+M and a 2.5L turbo for 1.6+M. No MT available here in the Phils.

A bank rep just called me today to verify the information and docs I submitted. He told me that they should have something for me by Friday.
