Subarus have great handling. They have this planted feel around corners wherein you have confidence that the limits are high. The Steering is just a bit slow.

Bought the splash guard for $80 from Amazon but I believe they are available also locally through olx. I havent driven the fozzy that fast yet (only got it a couple of weeks ago and did not have the chance to go outside of MM) but will take it to Baguio this coming holy week break.

Sarap i drive yan to baguio, marami lang widening road and bridges along the way kaya pag marami kang naunahan sa highway, the'll catch up sa one way traffic.

I am not sure if they do but I got mine when I was in the US last week. In fact, I bought a lot.

Have them deliver to Johnny Air Cargo and JAC will ship it to you. Opt for package pick up instead of delivery, it will be much cheaper.

Based on my one month research, the only notable difference between the maintenance cost of the CRV and the Fozzy is the 40k and 80k PMS service costs of the Forester, which would set you back 22-24k because of the comprehensive fluid changes that come with the nature of being an AWD.

Another thing, there are persons that say that you have to replace all 4 tires simultaneously because of the AWD mechanism of the Forester (ouch). I rather say that this is pretty much a sure thing based on the materials I gathered online. However, my SA told me that you can change two tires at a time, assuming you regularly perform tire rotations every 10k. Again, I'm banking on engineering stuff I read on online so I'll be conservative and factor in comprehensive tire changes.

Regarding the tires, Id rather believe that you need to change all at the same time. There are many stories of subarus breaking a center differential after around 600 miles because they only changed 2 tires.

Im not sure if its the same for new models but you have disable the awd by removing a fuse if your spare tire is a different size.
