Hi Friends, I'm new here... im scheduled to get my Forester XS tomorrow... i know the new Forester is coming out but with the current XS, i got a 200K discount.. and i've heard there's a big increase on the new Forester, so i cant afford the new model just the same.

currently, i have the civic. My budget is not more than 1.2Mio and I wanted a compact SUV this time, so i think my best option would be tucson for this budget. With the 200K discount that was given to me, i was able to afford a subaru.

Anyway, i hope i made the right decision. remaining colors nalang are black or silver, i got the silver.

TIA
Hi! Yes, may owner's manual. You should also have warranty booklet.

I tried having my fog lamps adjusted, but I was told by MI BGC that it can't be adjusted. Have had a few people from forums tell me otherwise though. So if it really bothers you, ask them to.

    *redmarked,

welcome! good to see more and more Forester owners. Had the same predicament and ended up with the (old) Forester. Tama lang din when I saw that the new Forester is at about 1.6-1.7M, Beyond budget

    update!

Finally got my Forester kanina lang, so far am happy with it! May owners manual, but it doesnt have any case - naubusan na daw.. Pati seat cover, ihabol nalang daw on my first month check up!

I didnt know about the problem in foglamps.. cge try ko pa-adjust when i go back for the 1st month check up.

Also, i asked the SA kanina about the price of the new forester, nasa 1.55Mio lang pala ang base price.. i thought it'll be at 1.6-1.7Mio level.

    Congratulations redmarked!

BTW, has anyone upgraded the map of their AVT sat/nav unit yet? Could you share how it's done?

Congrats and welcome to all new Fozzie owners!

Personally, i prefer the looks of the outgoing model.

Dumami talaga Forester owners when MI offered the markdown. Hopefully that translates well for us owners, by encouraging more 3rd party shops to get into the Subaru parts business.

Madaming shops na nag repair ng Subaru pero sadly the parts are still controlled by MI kaya mahal.. Tignan nyo na lang yung headlight natin.. 70+ isa.. mas mahal pa sa european na kotse.

thanks po sa replies. anyways, di naman considered problem yung foglamps, feeling ko lang its also aimed too low. searched the web and as april_ryan said fog lamps can be adjusted kaso lang i would not yet dare do it kasi parang maraming clips na tanggalin. for those who would dare here's the link: 2010 Headlights Aim - Subaru Forester Owners Forum
