Pareho pala tayong tour bus driver. hehehe. Yup, for long haul it's hard to beat. Dati Kia Besta ang daily driver ko dito sa Metro Manila pero kapag long trip mas gusto ko talaga ang MB100. Mas masarap i-drive, mas safe, comfortable ang passengers.
Congrats! Post ka lang dito if may mga problems or issues that need to be addressed.

December 19th, 2006 08:48 PM #157ano ba dapat tingnan kung bibili ng mb100? meron bang imported and local version nito, anong version/model/year ang may pinakamalakas na aircon and magkano na ba bentahan nito ngayon?

Local version has a badge when you open the hood that says 'COMMERCIAL MOTORS'
Otherwise it's imported and is probably a rebadged Ssangyong or Daewoo Istana.
Nothing wrong with imported versions, though. The imports had better equipment levels.
Local units (which were more bare) had a heavy duty cooling system and low speed differential.
Local versions initially did not have cabin heaters which made a/c servicing a simpler task. Later versions were were almost identical in configuration to the Korean models. Models with cabin heaters have a 'red zone' in their a/c thermostats.

OT: Yep, sa 'Love story in Harvard' ang daming Ssangyong Istanas. hehehe. But the lead character's ride was a Sportage. Gas model in the U.S. scenes, and CRDi in the Korean scenes.
