    on topic:

although i find it to be a boring sport, mas ok sana kung nasanay tayong mga pinoy in playing this sport instead of basketball since dito tayo me pag-asang makapantay sa international competitions aside from boxing, billiard, bowling

^^Haven't watched Cricket so no comment...

Since the World Cup is all the talk of the sporting world outside of RP (sa RP its the NBA Finals) I decided to give it a shot and see what its all about. Yun na nga I find the pacing to slow for my taste. I know its hard to score a goal and balance the ball using your foot. But as a spectator its just too slow for me. Sorry... So I now just stick to watching the highlights and just looking for the results. I just don't like watching a whole game with the ball just going back and forth with nothing happening...

I'm a fan of this paraguay fan.

Nothing on TV right now but the World Cup.

The Japanese team won against Cameroon (strongest team in Africa) so everybody's celebrating over here.
boring nga panoorin ang mga soccer match, pero pag panay ganito ang pinapakita sa screen, exciting na

Oh well. To each his own. I've played soccer since I was in early elementary school (started out here in the US, of all places). So, it's deeply ingrained in me although not to the point I follow all the leagues. But, I'm still proficient with my exercises and I can still juggle (shoulder, thigh, feet, head) the ball quite well. Ball juggling by itself is actually quite good for burning off calories.

The longest I've juggled the ball with both feet nonstop is 15 minutes. I was always totally drenched with sweat dripping from my shirt.
