yup. matagal na dito Fitness First. more than 5 years na. actually, i have been a member for more than 4 years. dyan ako pumayat eh... hehehehe.
pero realized na deteriorating na services nila. dami ring complaints ng double credit card charging, not to mention petty thefts sa lockers rooms. parang hindi na worth it yung binabayad kong 2900/month.
ended up quitting and transferring to a gym near our house. mas convenient.

before pa, kahit anong promo, found Fitness First too expensive for me.
although I tried it a few times (courtesy of some friends), i still settled for a gym near sa office dito sa Morato..
kaso nga lang yung natitipid ko sa enrollment napupunta naman sa supplements.

victim din ako sa FF Greenhills.....Lesson...read the contract first.

ako din eh victim nyan. I quit after 1 yr 6 months sa FF Ghills and sakto sa expiry the auto-debit credit card ko. (got issued a new credit card) already informed them. tapos gulat na lang ako, after another 6 months, sinisingil ako ng 6 months pa. expired na daw card ko kaya hindi sila maka-autodebit. sabi ko, nag-quit na ako ah and I informed FF noon pa. wala daw record, tapos punta daw ako dun.
pagpunta ko sinisingil pa din ako. mga sira-ulong yun! sabi ko: d'ba may database kayo? and I understand na kapag hindi nakabayad ng 1 month, freeze ang gym card? so siguro naman wala ako record na pumasok dyan in 5 months. kahit daw, sisingilin pa din daw ako. then sabi ko: more than 1 year ako when I quit and it's written in the contract na puwede ka mag-quit after more than 1 year without charging or whatever. la pa din!
and so I tried a compromising approach. o cge, babalik ako dyan since medyo tumataba ako but wag mo na ako i-charge sa 6 months na hindi na pumasok. di daw pwede, charge pa din daw ako 500/month. wtf! mga mukang pera!
so umalis na lang ako and joined Gold's. ngaun tinatawagan pa din nila, i-waive na daw nila 500/month, if I join them again now kahit na sinabi ko Gold's na ko.
napaka-unprof sobra! and to think, manager nila eh white foreigner pa ata dyan sa Greenhills.
regarding naman sa nakawan:
* here's my share: be wary of some instructors/assistants sa FF, sila ang tumitira ng cellphone, pda's, ipods dyan. kung meron good samaritan na nag-return sa counter, even if you inquire, i-deny pa din nila na may nakita lalo na kung high-end phone.
* there was also this one case in FF Ghills, yun isa girl galit na galit kumbakit nawala daw lahat ng gamit niya sa tsikot that was parked in front of FF Ghills. take note hindi sa locker ha, sa tsikot nya. the perpetrator got her car keys from the locker and instead of getting items sa locker, yun tsikot ang tinira. nagtataka kasi yun girl kumbakit nawawala car keys na iniwan sa locker. kung di pa siya nageskandalo, bigla lumabas yun key sa isang upuan daw sa locker room. tsk tsk halatang inside job.
* last but not least. while I was in the movie room sa treadmill sa FF Eastwood, mayroon isang fil-chinese guy na nagpapatulong pahanap yun rolex niya na di matandaan kung saan naiwan. yun helper sa locker ang naghahanap. sakto tapos nako. ng daanan niya yun row ng treadmills ko, kunwari check sya sa water bin. tapos sigaw sya: "sir! wala dito eh!" (the fil-chinese guy was in another row of treadmills. eh kitang-kita ko andun.
sabi ko na lang: pre! eto ah di mo nakita? sabi niya "ay eto na pala sir!"
