I love any dish with tofu. Been eating them since I was a child. In the 80's, me and my mom would go all the way to Arranque to buy fresh "taokwa" and "taohoo" (hard and soft tofu, respectively). My chinese is a bit rusty so I'm not sure if that's their proper names. For most pinoys, they're colloquially referred to as tokwa and toho, to distinguish between the two.
Of course, we don't eat kilos of the stuff. But we definitely have them at least once every week on average.

Ang lungkot ng buhay mo Kags. I'd rather die young siguro kesa naman na aabot nga ako ng 100 yrs old hinde naman pwede kainin lahat, para ano nga pala na gusto mo maging healthy at humaba buhay? Eh napaka salimuot ng buhay mo.

Pakiramdam ko ay magbestfriend si kags and ng kasama ko sa office. Lagi ako pinagsasabihan kapag karne kinakain ko and lagi nagsesend sa messenger ko ng mga links about kung paano ko ikakamatay pagkain ng BBQ and Sinigang.

there's more to life than food. our predilection for these "wrong" food is hindering our species, not to mention destroying our bodies

hindi lahat ng package/processed foods masama. Kita nyo yun chocolate na bark thins konti lang nakakaalam nyan. Meron dito pinas pero bilang lang nagbebenta at presyo hindi sya mura compare sa iba nakasanayan.
Kumakain ako sa turo-turo. Alam nyo ba yung sa scout chuatoco yun d boi's. Yan yun kinakainan pag may event jan sa amoranto stadium.
Paano naging bored eh napakaexciting buhay ko. Dekada ko na alam ito pagkagraduate pa lang college ganito na ako. PEro yung about sa sugar mga year 2012 ko sinimulan yan. Sa soy year 2007 ata tigil taho, soymilk.
Why i became like this. Hindi ako natutuwa sa mga doctor, the way magcheckup, Pag tinanong mo about food walang maisagot. Parang walang subject sa nutrition. Nag-aral pa ng 10years.
Ayoko magaya sa mga nakita ko lagi punta st lukes puro maintenance. Not my kind of life.
Chaka hindi nyo ba quinequestion sasabhin nila masama si ganito pero hindi naman pala. Remember the war against coconut oil and cholesterol? And dami pulitica jan. Dont get me started sa mga dermatologist ah. Ito mga negosyante talaga bentahan ka ng kung ano-ano.
So i explored. I learned about ray peat, and recently traditional chinese medicine. Combined ko ito. Natutuwa ako dito sa TCM kasi ito talaga yung sinaunang nutrition.
I listen to my body. Hindi naman ako rebelde na lalagok lang ng 2liter of real sugar softdrinks(within the day) kung hindi ko alam ginagawa ko. Iba iba kasi carbohydrates. Meron starch meron sweetener. Iba iba effect nyan. Yung isa papabuo ng ebak ko na walang amoy. Si sweetener softdrinks yan nagpapatunaw kinain ko animal protein.
Wag lang kasi kayo sunod ng sunod. Ngayon na lang lumalabas na baho kay DOH FDA. Ilan years ko na pinopoint out yan si DOH.
Ano sabi ni susan roces. Walang masamang magtanong. Pero wag ritemed hanapin nyo. Dapat nutrition. Not politics and money making.
as always trial and error. Kung hindi effective eh di change.
