actually many believe the official numbers coming out of China are too low

Wala yang pagalingan etc, kasi hindi naman contest ito. Miski John Hopkin’s Medical Center pa yan or there in Thailand…if they find a way to fight this virus, the world will rejoice.

We are hoping for the best, but yes, inconclusive pa yan.

Sa US din they used an experimental antiviral and it cured the patient (the 1st reported n-cov case in the US)

anyway, meron naman talaga gagaling sa sakit na yan may gamot o wala

di naman pinapatay ng virus lahat ng nahawaan

pero scary parin coz mabilis kumalat it can overwhelm hospitals specially in less developed countries

    heh heh.

    seriously,
our magagaling na mga duktors are out there still, in the field of ordinary human pilipino endeavor, quietly tending to the needs of the millions of ordinary filipinos. they do not cry for recognition, they do not wave victory flags, nor do they break into the news. they may not have ideal financial and logistical support, but they do their job, anyway. happily.
while the public's attention is glued to the relatively few specialists ministering to the victims of the new coronavirus, our magagaling na mga duktor are out there, quietly plodding along, doing their noble calling, sans advertisement. that's where our magagaling na mga duktors, are.

hey! the patent to "magagaling na duktor" is not held by UP. maraming magagaling na mga duktor, na hindi galing sa UP.

    to bring things into perspective.
the new corona virus is not 100% fatal. early information indicates about 2-3% fatality rate. it's similar to the usual viral pneumonias that we are already plagued with.
so, this early, recovery after being infected with the new coronavirus, appears to be the expected norm.
it is actually the press, that is magnifying every single detail out of proportion, as it crawls out of the medical facility. (hey! i like the press! it makes for easier funding. heh heh.)

so begs the question, "did the patient get better because of the drugs, or did patient get better despite of and with nary a care for, the drugs?"
hence, the need for further research.
wag muna ilabas ang bandila ng tagumpay.
More on sarcasm naman yung UP ko doc.

This will not be the last time na magkaroon ng sakit galing sa China.

Big companies must be hit hard now para magising na sila.

Hindi kaya ng ibang countries ang capability ng China as the world's factory. Many have tried to relocate, but eventually bumalik din. Only China have the skills and manpower to supply the demands of big companies. Even if, say Vietnam, will provide the manpower, but what about the raw mats? What about the supply of other parts needed to complete another part, and so on.

Slowly...hinde naman ilipat agad-agad. Bawasan dahan-dahan...saka dapat distribute na nila hinde pwedeng bulk sa China na lang.

when the host disappears from the face of the earth, so does the disease.
    heh heh.

    but hey!
i don't know how the morbidity-mortality statistics will stack out,
but the atmosphere of fear is overpowering to some.
i guess that's why we have to be over-cautious. because we don't really know the whole picture.

these epidemics do have a way of disappearing for long periods of time... 1918 spanish flu..
