Aircon Repair: Mario Reyes

I own a 2000 Chrsyler Grand Voyager. There was high pitched rattle from under the hood which 2 shops earlier diagnosed as a defective compressor bearing--accompanied by a P4K cost estimate.

I read about the great reviews of Mang Mario on tsikot.com and finally found the time to make the trip to his shop behind SM North Edsa.
Mang Mario fixed the rattle simply by cleaning the compressor with compressed air and by applying some oil on a rusty portion of the assembly. My aircon now works as good as new, clean as a whistle and no more rattle. I was ready to pay the price of the earlier cost estimates.

Now hear this, Mang Mario sent me off and didn't make me pay a cent, explaining the simple task he performed which didn't require much from him or his shop. Can you believe this? He did not charge for his time or service. I never met the guy.

You're a great asset to this community, Mang Mario. A dedicated and selfless professional at heart. I wish there were more of you. Mabuhay ka!

just went there b4 lunch for cleaning.

they cleaned the evap, condenser, including the blower. then replaced freon n oil.

cost P500.00.

bait kausap si mang mar and sarap kausap. naputol lang kwentohan namin nong sinipag syang linisin yng white galant nya. pareho kasi kami problema... how to maintain a white car

Napa-pitstop ako kina Mang Mario last week. Dala ko yung '77 Benz. Papunta kami ni kumander sa kanila. Anak ng patola biglang may umusok sa ilalim ng dashboard and nag-amoy sunog. Nawala din a/c ko. Binaklas ko ilalim ng dash looking for the problem, hindi ko makita. Dinala ko na kina Mang Mario.

5 mins lang kita na ng a/c tech niya kung saan ang fault. May isang wire na nahila (maybe during the alarm install) and nag-short.

As usual, 'pang-yosi' lang ang singil and I was on my way again.

Wow if this is the case he can be features dapat sa TV. Bihira na ganyang mga shop normally may minimum silang singil.. I remember last time nag ma jump start lang ako sa isang shop somewhere in mandaluyong.. Singil sakin 300pesos na nag dala lang ng battery yung tech. at jump start cable.. Sobrang singil nila.

bakit yun sa akin ilan months lang cleaning ni mang mario pag tangahali tapat at nag start ako malayo na tinak bo ko mainit parin sa loob samantalang bago nya nilinis un with in 10 min. malamig na. di kaya kulang sa freon yun nilagay sa akin? nag tatanong lang po.

Pacheck mo na lang sa kanya uli, puwedeng kulang sa freon or humina na ang auxiliary fan mo.

went to mang mario last fri. i was the 1st customer talagang inagahan ko coz i know dami nagpapagawa dun. tama sabi ng karamihan masarap kakwentuhan si mang mario. dami niyang alagain pet sa bahay it's bec. vet pala yung anak niya. at first tingin palang alam na kung ano ang problem sa A/C ko. mahina ang aux fan. needs cleaning lang. and its all worth it. galing ni mang mario. at mura pa. no wonder kahit medyo malayo at marami sa tabi-tabi dyan i dont want to take the risk. now tuwing naka A/C ako kelangan ko ng jacket and no more idle drop sa since napa clean ko. mabuhay po kayo mang mario. another one happy and satisfied customers.

ako kc since galing pa ko ng cainta, i took katipunan via UP den edsa(SM north) kanan kaliwa ng mindanao ave. 1st stop light kaliwa ka road8 yun straight ahead then 2block kanan ka makikita mo na yung brgy. sto cristo malapit na yun. bahay lang kasi ito with red gate. ipagtanong mo lang once nasa loob kana ng sto. cristo kilalang kilala si mang mario dun. gudluck!
