Aircon Repair: Mario Reyes

Just like those who are satisfied with Mang Mario's service, had my a/c fixed last april sa klagitnaan ng tag-init, since 2 shops na ung pinagdalhan ko sabi change my compressor, exp valve reline etc. etc plus taga pa sa price.. then ive discovered map of mang mario thru this thread kaya nagbakasakali ako na masolve nya problem ko.

Pag-angat pa lang ng hood kita na kagad nya problem ko with high pressure.. eh kc nga naman un fan ko pang benz nilagay ng mechanic di naman sinabi ac tech na ung ang reason. kaya pinabili lang nya ko ng orig dual fan ng sentra ayun parang nagdahilan lang ac ko at the cost of 1.5k nagulat pako kasi when i call mang mario sabi nya prepare 3k eh charge lang nya klahati.

Ngayon parang kailangan ko ng defogger...hehehe kasi lamig na tag-ulan!!!moisttmoisstt

Yes they do Euro cars. Our Benzes get serviced there and most probably, our 850 Wagon will too when the time comes. Minsan kasabay ko E-Class na Benz and 316 na BMW. There was even a time when they had to fix the electric vent selectors of an older 7 series. Nakakabaliw daw but they did it. hehehe.

Hindi ko din nga alam kung magkano ang 'pang-sigarilyo' eh. hehehe. Hindi din naman ako nagyoyosi. :D

I'm planning to have one of our rigs A/C system serviced by Mang Mario soon. Question - do I have to bring the parts needed (dryer, expansion valve, etc) for a general cleaning or I can get these from his shop? Thanks!

pag drier mas ok if u bring a stock/orig drier, if im not mistaken generic dryer lang meron sila, wala yung shutoff circuits para pag nag high pressure ang aircon system, so basically naka tiwalwal lang yung terminals para dun kasi wala saksakan sa drier.


yung expansion valve usually di pinapalitan pag hindi pa sira yun, antayin na lang magka problema bago palitan,

Thanks for the info Mojo. I'll make sure na may dryer akong dala. Last one, how much ang singil ni Mang Mario for a general A/C cleaning? A/C ng Gen 2.5 Paj ko ang papalinis ko.

Less than Php 1K ang general cleaning ng Pajero (pull down both evaporators).

900 pesos singil saken baba evaporator, cleaning, freon at change drier.

compared sa mga aircon shops na umaabot 1.9 to 2k

Paj, my 2.8L undergo general cleaning for 900 pesos. Walang pinalitan piyesa. Kung sakaling may kailangan palitan meron kang mabibilan doon for original parts. Tricycle lang ang katapat. Yun ang ginagawa nung mga nakasabay ko duon na nagpalit ng evaporator at dryer. Just make sure lang na pagdinala mo sasakyan mo duon walang ulan dahil wala silang silungan. Big umbrella lang gamit nila.
