    I'm just amazed at how fast the police drawn their guns.. Pag labas ng taxi driver naka tutok kagad ang mga baril. Maybe because this is checkpoint kaya hot and ready kagad mga baril?

    i've walked by some checkpoints and kadalasan either nakasling na sa kanila yung long firearms or nakalapag directly in front of them. in fairness, bilis nga nila naka react at smart (or matapang?) si taxi driver.

    maybe coz police manning checkpoints were briefed that they'll encounter gun ban violators (like riding in tandem)

    or hindi alam nung mga holdaper na may checkpoint dun sa dinadaanan ng taxi..

    kaya nung huminto, pilit siguro nila pinapa abante yung driver..

    Yeah looks like EDSA Balintawak. Must be fairly recent, coz last year wala pang bubong yung pedestrian crossing.
