November 7th, 2015 12:27 PM #771Regarding that, yes, I understand. But that 0.5-1km/l off from computer vs manual is quite a margin.
I'm okay with a 6% to 8% discrepancy with the manual vs computer readout. Which is why the 92% to 96% accuracy is acceptable to me. But if there is an additional 5% on top of that (meaning a 12% discrepancy, that's a big figure to be losing out on which is more to do with the station having inaccurate pumps rather than the traffic situation I feel.
Say for example the 8km/l readout is manually checked to actually be 7.5 (93.75%)or 7.0km/l (87.5%). If I get the 93.75% I am okay, but when it is 1km/l off readout, I suspect it is more to do with the inaccurate volume readout of the pump causing the bulk of the discrepancy.
If you notice my method of recording, I also include the average speed throughout the whole top up to check so that I get somewhat of a baseline. Since driving style doesn't really change much with me behind the wheel. =)
Hope that clears it up as I do think there was somewhat of a consistency of ranges especially after the "break-in" period. hehe!

That's what I said. On some fillups I have low discrepancies (less than 5%). On other fillups in the SAME PUMP, I get big discrepancies of up to 1 km/L.

November 9th, 2015 01:11 AM #778Bad news Sir SkyFlakes88. My wife decided that it was her turn to get a car and promptly got a Mz3. Well perhaps next year when I have enough budget. Thanks for the assist.
