^yeah, mickey's for me when it comes to car audio. might be expensive but you'll get what you paid for. though i haven't tried jc audio(at cainta?) yet for price comparison, pero when it comes to craftsmanship sigurado pareho lang sila. those guys(JC) are mickey's former technicians who invested their own shop for a start. seems success naman.

October 27th, 2015 04:16 PM #1735To the tsikoter who's asking kung saan maganda magpa set-up. I would like to add Araneta Car Accessories. Sila nag setp up ng Swift ko, hindi bara bara ang installation ng wires sa ilalim at malinis. Budget meal-set up. Jeff Tan runs the shop.

Bro, how's the functionality of this HU? Thinking of getting one too.
I just need a head unit that has Bluetooth so I can take calls while driving without taking my hands off the wheel.
I'm also very particular about the tactility of the touch screen - is it as responsive as a smartphone? I noticed that this HU has no knobs, so you're really dependent on the touch screen to scroll through songs. I have tens of thousands of songs on my iPod so being able to navigate through them is a must. My stock HU has a small screen but has a very nifty knob that allows me to browse through my songs easily.
Lastly, do the steering wheel audio controls of the car still work?
Oh, and does Winterpine sell 2-DIN panels for the Altis?

November 4th, 2015 08:08 AM #1740Touchscreen is very responsive. I have Pioneer AVH-1450DVD for the Revo and Pioneer AVH-X275BT for the ASX. Both are a joy to use. Bluetooth functionality of the X275BT is great. Really love using it for taking calls.
You can use the touchscreen to browse songs, no problem. You can also use the NEXT and BACK buttons on the left side panel. Lastly, you can use the Pioneer remote control included with the unit.
I have not found the time to setup the wheel audio control yet. But there is instructions included in the owner's manual on how to do this.
Sorry, no idea about other Winterpine products. I'd just been there two times eh. I suggest you give them a quick call.
