Maybe it would be best if you wait until the second half of 2016. Siguro by that time service centers and gas stations are well aware of the Euro IV diesels already. Sa ngayon kasi wala ma recommend or di nila alam kung may epekto ba ang Euro IV diesel sa Euro II engines.

But in our experience more than a year na nagkakarga ng Euro IV diesel sa 4JK1 VGS wala naman problema.

Another proof na bagsakan ng isuzu outdated engines ang pinas. We are also victim of another isuzu, 4ja1 engine. Victimized by isuzu as 2015 model, paglabas mo... Victimized again by anti smoke belching group.
I agree with you that showing figures abroad is unfair because they have different specifications there. But look, there is no point in you keeping at this since you will not win. Sorry, not a chance. It is multiple people against one, and the mere fact that you fail to see it in a different perspective already shows you passively conceding to your defeat in this pointless argument. Unless you are just here to troll, then it was all our mistake to be bothered by your thread bashing.

For one, you already went out of the boundaries of this topic since we are talking about the current generation D-Max, not the Crosswind or any older model. Second, I already stressed in my previous post that Isuzu prioritises durability in their engines. That is why they take a longer amount of time to bring in the newer technology here. They want to make sure that the fuel quality we have will not cause any problems. Their very long lasting reputation would be tainted if a widespread engine problem would be experienced. Since you already mentioned it anyway, I would rather have a Crosswind that has a bulletproof engine than a car with the newest technology but unproven reliability. There is good reason why it is one of the choices for a UV Express Vehicle Service (even if their drivers are the biggest douchebags in the Metro, but that is already another matter altogether). It is a testament to the reliability and fuel efficiency of the vehicle. In the case of smoke belching, I am in no proper position to comment on that since I have never owned a Crosswind, but neither have I experienced seeing one that belches. Heck, the belching I see are all from the Mitsubishi 4D56 and Toyota 2KD-FTV engines. I believe proper care and maintenance is all one would need to prevent this.

But really, this matter is quite subjective. If you are the kind of person who wants the newest tech at the cost of possible problems that might arise, by all means, go ahead. I prefer sticking to the established choice that would not give me headaches and problems. To each his own.

Before ako bumili ng Dmax back in 08, ganyan ang sinasabi, hanggang ngayon ganyan padin. Basta ako masaya ako sa choice ko.

Fortuner pala ang sasakyan ni Dmax Troll ayun sobrang nagsisi at di daw nya akalain na matagtag. Naalog siguro utak nya kaya sya ganyan.

Fortuner has its own weakness, pero walang salesman sa forum nila. They dont bash anyone who talk about its weakness. Dito, dami mga salesman ng isuzu. They cannot take criticisms.

Sharing is the main goal here. There are happy customers, and picky customers. If we have the opportunity to choose, why not? All we need is a comfortable ride that will last 10 yrs without headaches.
