that is a lot of crap idol. anong kinalaman ng battery sa ecu? ibig sabihin ba everytime na due magpalit ng battery, kelangan ireprogram ecu? kahit malaki yung ipalit mo, ang magiging problema lang dyan is mounting, kasi pareho lang din daloy ng kuryente dyan from 10 to 14+v.

+1 here. ecu will reset not reprogram once the batt disconnected from the car terminal. for example you may reset the ecu if the idle speed (RPM) is below 600rpm or if the engine stalls etc... similar to the principle of your CP. Your CP will not reprogram/reformat once you took off the batt instead it will reset only.

supposedly idol, they void the electrical warranty, but all other warranties should be intact.

What would you recommend mga sir.

I'll be getting a second hand amp (JBL a604) with a good price I think.
considering GTO 609c seps by the way

Dilemma ko ngayon is to get the sellers sub a GTO 1014 with box with a good price rin.
then ipon konti to save for a mono for this sub afterwards / just be happy to use also the amp to power this sub.
    or
proceed with the initial plan to get a GT5-12 sub and buy new box (which roughly 7k)
then use the amps to power the sub and seperates.

based on research there is not much difference with this 2 sub (based on my understanding spec wise the GTO 1014 is much better / at par with the GT5-12)

is there balance with this components ? or what they call level matching ?

    what should i do ?

Woah, that's an expensive box at 7,000php.

The GTO1014 is more expensive. It's a "GTO" hence higher than the "GT" in JBL's lineup. The main difference will go to the added 2" that the GT12 has. Since surface area is king when it comes to bass - that's why although there are small subwoofers, larger subwoofers will still eat them for lunch.

I will caution muna sa mga seller. Make sure you trust him. Ask him how long as it been used and make sure to get a personal warranty. While subwoofers are durable speakers, most people especially in the budget range, tend to misuse their subwoofers.

Also, the box should conform to your needs. If trunk space is important, then go for a smaller sealed enclosure over the typically bigger ported box.

There's no such thing as matching in car audio. Your car acoustics alone is the biggest variable and since you can't control that, there's no such thing as "matching" in car audio. Level matching is simply tuning the amplifier gains so that your speakers and subwoofer output isn't overpowering each other -- they're "level" when it comes to their loudness.
