Pang matagalan ang Toyota kaya wag ka mag alala. You have a reliable car.
Kapag regular oil naman nilagay mo. Every 7,500 mo palitan.

October 28th, 2014 02:55 AM #1844No you don't need to change the oil filter every 5K. Fully synthetic motor oil is rated at 15,000 to 16,000 km. Change the oil filter when you change the oil.
As far as pwede mangyari kapag hindi pinalitan ang oil, pwede mag breakdown ang oil. The engine may seize due to friction. Very rare for a Toyota.
Save your money and the environment. Follow the manufacturer's (not casa aka dealer) oil change interval. Even the type of oil to use is stated.
Say no to additives.

Sino po nakapag-20k kms PMS na? How much po ang damage pag sa casa?
May major na po ba gagawin sa 20k PMS ie., palit AC filter, Air filter, etc. o palit lang ng oil at oil filter to? TIA

Sir, yung D4d engine (non-VNT) kailangan pa din ba ng cooldown bago patayin ang makina o yung mga 3.0 lang saka yung mga equipped ng VNT yung kailangan ng cool down?

I just want to know which of the 2 variant will be "Bang for the Bucks" between the 2015 2.5L G which is the entry level for automatic tranny or the 2015 2.5L V variant. budget is around 1.5M. I'm planning to buy it next year feb or march and this will be my first car.
and also which petrol company would you suggest with their diesel would be best for the Fortuner
