sir.. you can try Toyota North Edsa.. referred some tsikoters already.. so far everyone is satisfied.. my latest referral is my sister.. she got 2014 Altis 1.6G AT..

btw i also got my 2013 Innova G vvti AT from this dealer..

Saan kayo nagpalinis ng egr sir? And any common problem sa 1kd?

For the consumption, 7km/l for city driving is ok i think. Full time 4wd kasi diba?

Sir sa casa ako nagpalinis sa EGR, meron din sa labas, pero kasi once binuksan yan,alam mo naman sa labas, madami gusto ipapalit.

Sa casa nilinis lang mga build ups at deposits, para maganda mixture ng air/etc. It is a long term maintenance meaning not on a 10k /20k basis. siguro once every 50k.

Aside from head gasket wear nung nag 120k sakin, may kasabayan ako na 180k odo head gasket/piston rings din. Pinagawa nya sa labas, hindi magawa gawa, last resort niya sa casa na. I think normal wear and tear na talaga. No other major problem experienced so far.

Got the new 2014 VNT 2.5G, more responsive engine, higher HP and faster acceleration vs 3.0 D4D(kahit repack at linis/machine shop/piston rings na ng casa-which can be considered almost brand new engine), so kaya possible minsan over-rev at 120k odo palang change head gasket/piston rings na. Just my own opinion.

from what i read online kasi, maganda daw ang 1kd-ftv engine. VGT na din yata ito from the first gen Fort? but i am wondering bakit at 120k km, may top overhaul na.

as for the head gasket replacement, nag overheat ba kayo sir?

Yung 2015 Fortuner dapat lang may rear disc brakes. Matagal na kailangan.
