April 14th, 2014 09:50 PM #682Thanks for the replies!
Prices are as follows:
GLX A/T 1 308 000
GLS A/T (gas) 1 328 000
GLS-V A/T 1 468 000
Ang liit kasi ng discrepancy ng gls at glx mga bro. For 20 000, you get all the toys in the GLS-V at the expense of a gas engine. How big is the difference in FC? Di naman gaanong matraffic samin since I'm not from NCR. Will having a gas engine greatly affect resale value in, say, 6-7 years? What's the difference sa hatak ng gas at diesel non-vgt monty? Salamat po!

Sir justin
Better go to the diesel, mas matagal mag-depreciate at mataas ang resale value later on kaysa sa gasoline.
May mga discount ngayon ang mitsubishi, pwede umabot ng almost 80-90K discount, either cash or financing.
pwede pang ma-lower yung actual price at umabot ng 1.3M+
And since hindi po kayo sa NCR, (province/city) and most of the time ay highway driving from point a to point b,
GLS-V ang best variant model, very fuel efficient and equipped w/larger turbo..
Smooth acceleration ang Gas at walang turbo lag, not sure kung meron po dito na owner ng V6 version monty to share the experience about sa performance ng mivec v6, dito po sa NCR, bihira ako makakita ng monty V6 user, meron man ako nakita, sa makati area, diplomat registered, and meron maliit na sticker na nakalagay na MIVEC V6.
Non-Vgt naman, and also to compare na rin yung VGT version (personally driven the Non-VGT strada ng pinsan ko and yung monty namin na VGT Both MT and 4wd) for reference.
unti lang naman ang difference between the non-vgt and vgt, acceleration delay and turbo lag..
performance,
non-vgt ---- city/highway driving
vgt ---- long driving

April 16th, 2014 03:58 AM #689got our montero gls-v a couple of weeks ago so far ok naman walang naging problem. steering wheel sa una lang naman mabigat and di ko pa nakitang bumuga ng maitim almost 1500kms na tinakbo. pms nung monday umabot ng 5700. nagpalit na rin ako ng busina sobrang hina ng stock. very satisfied with our monty.
i have some questions na rin mga bossing
1. di pa binibigay yung GPS SD card sabi ng ahente kailangan daw kasi iupdate lahat daw ng nirerelease wala pang SD card. ganon ba talaga katagal magupdate non at umabot na ng 2 weeks wala pa rin daw?
2. nung pms hindi nag topup ng brake fluid kahit nasa min level na. meron akong valvoline for dot3&4 pwede na ba yon? or may ibang brand na mas maganda pang topup?
3. ano magandang brand ng headrest monitor? sa sulit kasi karamihan parang china made.
TIA!

April 16th, 2014 06:41 AM #690We are planning to get a GLS-V also soon. We are just concerned about the smoke coming from the montero. We used to own an Isuzu crosswind and is regularly casa-maintained. Still, we always had problem with the lto emission testing because of the smoke. Does the montero have similar problems? Will topping up with Euro 4 gas lessen/eliminate the smoke? Hope you could share your experience. Thanks.
