My guess is they want to kill the competition by pricing the 5c along the range of the S4 and other android phones thinking that the consumers who can afford the mid range android would buy 5c instead. However, samsung did not budge and released the note3+gear instead. Apple is just too selfish!

I agree the 5C doesn't look premium at all. Looks cheap. If they're still selling it as a high end product I am confused, why make it look cheap, and water it down? Identity crisis talaga. Better stick to what you know hehe.

usually kasi 'di ba pag nagrerelease ng bagong phone ang apple, yung previous model eh magbababa ng price (like 100 USD?). Kung ginawa nila ngayon yan, yung iphone 5 eh mas bababa ang price kasi nga may iphone 5s na. Yung magiging price ng iphone 5 after release ng iphone 5s is yung price ng iphone 5c ngayon. Pero, mas mababa ang cost of production ng 5c 'diba? so, phase out 5, palitan ng 5c para mas mababa ang cost of production, pero same price lang ng 5c ang supposedly price dapat ng 5 kung di nila ni discontinue. kaso nga lang hindi dig ng mga SC ang 5C. hehe

afaik sir they will discontinue the production of iPhone 5. Inuubos na lang mga stocks. Pero 4S meron pa din.
