meron din nabasa ako sa internet news regarding ATM fraud. The thief would install a fake ATM machine somewhere. Inside is just a laptop computer with a card reader. The customer/victim would swipe in his card, punch in his pin number and a ATM machine offline display would be presented to him... Later the thief would retrieve all the data stored in the laptop and make copies of all the ATM cards and pin numbers he has copied...Last edited by kyle618; December 16th, 2004 at 07:59 PM.

There was another fake ATM style... they used a tablet style laptop with a touch screen and programmed it to act like an ATM screen. The thing was attached to the front of a real ATM machine using some double sided tape.

may Chinabank ATM na ganyan which has a posted warning regarding that Modus operandi. meron nakalagay na black piece of wood nakatakip dun sa dispenser ng cash. sa unang tingin di halata yun kaya pag withdraw mo ng pera wala lumalabas
