    Make sure that the LG TV model is pure 4K. There have been reports that some LG UHD TVs don't use 4K panel.

    Sir, bakit naman dvd player with AV/ Composite cable ang gagamitin nya for testing a UHD tv? Otherwise, CRT tv na lang bilhin nya. It just doesn't make sense.
    The UHD TV will only produce a vcd quality images- sure thing, di sya matutuwa sa PQ.
    Better bring your own favorite hd movies in BD or HDD.
    Hd source + Hd screen= very good PQ.
    Parehas lang yan sa pagbili ng headphone or speakers/Amp. Gagamit ka ba ng MP3 player/ Mp3 music files kung mag audition ka ng BOwers and Wilkins 802d at Classe Amps?
    Kung kayang bilhin ni sir glenn yung ganung tv with price tag, I'm sure- he won't mind paying his monthly subscription for HD channels/ movies.

    Kung never manood ng SD channel.. Like local news or show.. Forget may suggestion na gumamit ng dvd player to test the clarity of tv on SD video.... If hd lang gusto po panuurin e almost 1/4 lang ng channel sa pinas ang mapapanood mo ng maayos. Yung 3/4 posible hindi ka satify kasi posible yung tv mo po na mabili e pangit magpa labas ng SD video..

    Actually sir maraming bumili ng UHD na expect na pag dating nila sa bahay e yung linaw na nakita nila sa store e yun din makikita nila pag sasak sa cable nila.. some sales person dont want to test the unit using dvd player kasi alam nila na posible hindi bumili ang client dahil sa nakita nilang pangit pala pag sd video ang ipapa labas..
    Before nung nag sabi ako na pwede ba e test sa dvd player or low quality video e ang sabi ng sales e wala na silang ganun.

    The only thing you'll get for trying out a DVD on a 4k TV is just how bad DVD picture quality...
