I wonder if it's better to go for the Note FE or just wait for the S9.

I'm getting sick of my Note 5 that now has a screen that cracks spontaneously without dropping.

If you need the stylus, just go for the Note8. FE I heard is no longer supported by the app developers. Use your card, I think they are still accepting 24 months 0-interest.

Not a fan of the Note 8. Way too long already. The S8+ is already large as it is. When I tried the Note 8, it felt uncomfortable especially for one hand use. I'd like to stick to a 5.7-5.8" screen like the S7E and S8.

Also, I'm not a fan of buying things in installment. [emoji4]

True, the Note 8 is quite long for an average hand so I am using a ring to keep it secured. Still it is an effort to reach across the sensor using the forefinger when unlocking or taking selfies. The 0-interest scheme is beneficial in the sense that the present value of all those payment you will make in the next 24 months is less than the amount you will pay in full now. The downsize is the mental anguish of being in debt for 2 years.

Also, I'm left handed so the fingerprint sensor is an issue for me when coupled with the length.

It's cheaper to buy a brand new phone from someone who gets a phone from Globe/Smart then sells it online for a low price. I've never bought a phone at retail price. [emoji4]

Only downside is that I don't get a new phone right when it's launched.

When the S9 comes, I'll probably have to wait a month or two before I get a unit so that the prices have dropped a little already.

So far, my brother has been lucky shopping for S8+ units - getting them cheap, using them for a few weeks, then selling them for higher than how much he got them for.

Just not a fan of the S8+ because it still uses the camera of the S7 while costing twice as much.

what functional replacement for headphone jack, does it offer?
At first it's to make the iphone slimmer. Others follow suit without really making their phone slimmer. I guess other manufacturers just do what Apple does without realizing it why.

the 3.5mm jack is just too imo... bt5 should be the norm for the high end market...
