Got this for my wife. Good value for money. Above average camera quality, good connectivity, above average overall performance.

Very very nice phone. Super satisfied ako sa cam and the sounds with headphones. Battery life is quite good also

Been using it for about a week already. Bumigay na LCD nang G2 nang anak ko so I finally took the plunge to buy the real phone I want and gave him my P9 Plus.

The phone is bigger that my P9 plus, but coming fro a G4, sanay na ako sa malaking phone. yes it is quite heavy also (heaviest I've used) esp with a rinke onyx casing but I don't mind much.

Again coming from a G2 and then G4, the first thing i did was reinstall the home and app drawer, it is just better that way. Sanay na rin ako sa set-up na ito. I like the secondary screen but I miss the LED notification. Tried a lot of apps but none is good because ultimately, you need a rooted LG V20 to get anywhere. Sa malayo kasi mas kita ang LED notification if its is charging, charged 100% or if you missed a call or text. Kung katabi mo no problem because that's what the 2nd screen is for. But I did settle for Charging LED, at least there is some visible motion of icons on the 2nd screen.

It is fast as expected although I only play COC, CR and CSR racing from time to time so I don't know if gaming experience is good for high end games.

No problem so far with the dual sim set-up although I missed the carrier name in the notification bar (P9 has it and it is neat), had to install dual sim widget app. That's just me though.

Using taps for a lock screen is as great as the knock on wake/sleep feature. Been using it more than the fingerprint scanner since the phone is mostly on the table during work.

Been testing the camera and comparing it to my wifes, G5 and the P9 Plus and I can say it is somewhat better than the G5's camera and definitely better than P9 Plus.

Hirap maghanap at mag-dowlnload nang free Hi-Fi songs hehe, but the sample of LG smartworld and using the included B&O in-ear phone is really quite something. I am not an audiophile by any means (actually I am musically challenged ) though so take it with a bucket load of salt. But it does sound better than my P9 Plus before.

Battery life is good for 1 day for me. Either i charge it at noon or thru my laptop para until late in the evening magamit ko. Then charge in the morning for 100% status before going to work. Quick charge 3.0 is great BTW, plus you get a free 2nd battery pack as well.

I also installed an addt'l 32gb SD card since matakaw sa memory pics and videos. Although I ahve not tried recording videos yet. Wala pa events hehe.

Lastly, I really bought the phone since it is US MIL-STD-810G certified. But searching the net I found out that the plastic protective film on the rear lens should be kept on. Too much scratches can result to it breaking. That is why at least a good case is needed. That is my only gripe with this phone. Would have wanted a slicker case. Spigen have good cases as well if ever you choose this phone, tagal lang sumagot sa query ko kaya I bought ringke, kinakabahan ako sa camera na mag-scratch eh hehe.

BTW, I manually updated my now old phone P9 plus to Nougat. From B190 to B320 na.

Sayang kasi meron pala latest na B363 firmware pero need na mag-rollback to B180 muna. Eh ang tagal mag-DL nang mga files so hintayin ko na lang official update from B320 to B362 for my son's new phone.

Ito nakakainis sa Huawei ko, bagal updates nila. Chinese ohones ata mga ganyan, nilalagyan pa ata nila spywares kasi hehehe

    Nice write up.

Im 75% sold on this V20 but im having second thoughts coz i dont want to spend that much money for a phone, especially im coming from a 6k alcatel phone only haha!

V20 caught my attention because it's dual sim with a dedicated sdcard slot which is very important for me. And i want an everyday phone with a really good camera
