Kakakuha ko lang ng new eyeglasses ko kahapon.
Lense is Airwear na transitions lenses (with authenticity card) polycarbonate, ultrathin, single vision, multi coated, unbreakable daw, and ang daming features.
I'm very satisfied right now. Got it for 7k at Vision express * SM FAIRVIEW.
BTW, frame is Pal Zileri from Optical shop trinoma. bought if for 5.3k ata.

sorry if this has been discussed before... A friend told me to visit Quiapo for my next prescription glasses.
any specific shop you can recommend?
and does anyone know if they carry Transitions Drivewear? (or maybe an alternative)

September 19th, 2024 05:55 PM #15You don't need to go to Quiapo. Just go to the nearest market to your place and ask around for their prices and specs. But if you really want to try Quiapo, don't visit the big stores on the main streets. Look for those shops tucked away in the farthest corners to get the best prices.

Tried Quiapo, for branded lenses, similar prices lang with the malls. You just need to haggle with the mall shops.
Mas madami lang options for cheaper frames and lenses sa Quiapo. But if you're particular with brands of lenses and frames, then just go to your nearest optical shop.Signature

If you mean photochromic lenses (the ones that turn dark with UV rays), these are typically around 2.5k at a mall optical shop but you would have to order ahead though.
Hidalgo has these in stock, so no waiting necessary. Not sure about the price, though, maybe about 500 pesos cheaper?
