had our land line cut many many months ago. di naman ginagamit kasi. madalas kasi nuon binabayaran namin pero kahit isang call wala. actually mas madalas pa nga gamitin ang cp para itawag sa bwiset na bayantel na walang signal ang dsl nila! now we have broadband bundled with skycable. for calls for delivery of cooking gas and purified water ang maid naman lagi may unli sa cp, libre load nya galing sa coin bowl sa kitchen.

for overseas calls there is always viber.

for our relatives abroad we use fb video chat. free. and everyone is almost always online. mga adik e.

Still have a landline. Very useful for utility calls, fast food delivery calls, and when the security of the village calls for various reasons.

nope. may unli calls lagi yung maid namin sa cp nya so she can call us if she needs to. also free ang load nya galing sa coin bowl sa kitchen namin so kahit landline tawagan nya on her cp for cooking gas and purified water (but they have cp also kaya text lang may delivery na) ok lang. everytime i or my wife come home we dump all our coins into the coin bowl kaya may pambili siya lagi ng load.

Bro, how's your experience with SkyBroadband? Which plan and how is it so far?

Am also planning to ditch my PLDT landline and DSL, and switch to Sky Broadband (higher Mbps at cheaper subscription price). No Fibr yet in my place, kung meron, no brainer will get it.

    Thanks.
