PC Hardware gurus help: AGP external power supply

Jun is correct, have you cleaned your pc of the old videocard's drivers?

what psu are you using? branded or bundled-in the case?

My HEC 550AB hasn't failed me eventhough it burned my HD when i inserted it the wrong way. My sata hd comes with a legacy 4-pin molex.

I just just installed my true rated power supply HEC 385, naayos na kasi. at wala na po lag sa video. thank goodness.

yung sunog po na amoy, sunog po yun galing power supply, smelling from it's exhaust fan... the smell of the chemical coating of the tranformer melting... been on these road before kasi eh... my 1st and 2nd power supply 300w generic smelled like this, before it totaly broke.

ngayon, wala na po yung amoy, looks like my old hec 385 could still take the load.
