I never had any problem with my Linksys (same model in Q) router for almost a year now. I got only brief interrupted conn due to ISP's upgrades and technical enhancements (sabi nila). I haven't upgraded yet the firmware though it still is working fine and I don't want to mess it up knowing some bugs during firmware upgrades. I also use the wifi function with my lappy and N80. Just configured the WEP sec functions and p2p port forwarding. Other than that, it's working fine as it should be.

March 20th, 2009 07:57 PM #53^^Gud to hear sir. I also updated my FW with 4 Linksys AP devices last month. Usually out from the box, icheck for updates and flash it before using.
Guys, hav you encountered this aa(airborne access) Linksys WRT54GL? Im planning to flash it with DDRT Firmware, problem is aa's OpenWRT console has no link button to FirmWare upgrade. Does anybody know how to flash this thing?

What is your router? have you enabled DHCP? Are you sure the LAN patch cable is good?

This might sound stupid but have you enabled your wifi at both ends? (laptop and router)
Did you configure the router's wifi setup properly? Did you do a test without the wifi security enabled?
