"97% of users don't use 1GB/day or 3GB/month" - Ibig sabihin 97% ng subscribers nila ay naloko lang nila. Nagsubscribe pa sa HSDPA+ e hindi naman pala nagagamit to the fullest. Might as well use 3G.

Globe was very stupid to not do proper research before making this claim. It is easy to deduce that these mobile users will start using the connection at home also. I mean c'mon, LTE unlimited on a mobile device? Eh di gagamitin ko na rin sa bahay diba?

Again, nothing wrong with the FUP, but everything wrong with Globe's initial claim and then backtracking after realizing the truth about consumer behaviour.

Globe's market research team was caught flat footed on this one.

FUP is wrong... why offer "unlimited" when in fact it will be limited? its like offering a buffet eat-all-you can where the food will be given in limited amount or scooped.. and worst is they will reduce your speed to 2G?? 3G is more acceptable but 2G really? 2G its next to unusable speed

Exactly. Parang you pay for eat all you can pero after you've consumed a certain portion, hindi na pwede and you can only eat the cheaper substitutes. Tapos sabihin sayo, fair use policy para yung iba may chance makakain pa.

    Wag nalang tawaging unlimited.

Correct me if I'm wrong but data speed is affected not by bandwidth hog as the call it. But rather by over subscription in a particular area/tower.
