swerte nga.. mga 2 years ago yung canon 2 series ng bro-in-law ko nagloko yung lcd.. parang mas mababa pa sa 16colors ang display. no mention of a recall then, he had it repaired for 4K-5K in the canon service center.

my old canon ixus400 was also repaired for free by canon, free of charge.

Wahhh tumawag yung Canon tapos na daw yung Digital Camera ko pero wala na daw deliver.Dad ko ang nagsabi na dedeliver daw nila eh.

Had my A80 also repaired. The same problem, CCD. The customer service agent told me that the reason for its failure is due to heat. Since these are designed to be used in partly cold countries.
Paktay, they should have sold the units elsewhere.
Anyway, good thing service and replacement part is free of charge.

my ixus was also recalled..and the ccd gave up on me in less than a year.
yun nga lang..sa singapore ko binili so sa sing ko rin pinadala.but i heard canon phil will still repair it even if sa ibang bansa mo binili.
