June 19th, 2020 09:43 AM #143our old home HP inkjet lasted several years.
we switched to brother, because of the HP's hideous cost of ink.
a stand-alone printer is prefered, if one is a heavy printer. our office computer is connected to a unit that does nothing but print. it is a beautiful, huge, big-bucks canon color laser printer...

+1 on Brother. We have the DCP-TW500 with Tank refill system and wireless printing thru BT or wi-fi. Bought it about 3 years ago to replace our Canon because of the cost of ink replacement. So far so good and its made in PH pa pala.

June 19th, 2020 01:47 PM #145+1 on HP
i am also on the hunt for a replacement for our HP officejet printer. its not currently broken but i cant seem to find any sellers of its ink. Our HP Officejet lasted for over 12 years na. not a heavy user so i am always using original inks which since last year i can't seem to find anymore being sold even in the official HP stores or Lazada or shopee.
although might switch to epson for a purely black inkjet or laser printer.
From my experience before i got this HP i had 2 units of Brothers office printer which got errors a few months after the warranty lapse. so i would not recommend brother printer although their reliability might be better on the newer models.

Business grade printers of any brands are ok. We're leasing 500,000 prints/yr from toshi. no downtime whatsoever.
These budget inkjets are priced so they can cover replacements lol.
All I did was head cleaning and calibration most of the time. i just threw them away and just went to the office for hard copy documents.

June 19th, 2020 08:50 PM #150Most office setups nowadays, equipt are leased for less iT manpower.
My Epson memories goes to LX300 dot matrix that used to print wordprocessing school reports during the HS days. Its the most reliable having the cheapest ribbon even the Olympia typewriter ribbon could be rewinded on it. I still got two gathering dust.
BTT. Stretch the budget and it easier to chose from(in order) brother, epson, canon, hp.
