there is an "obsolete" technique/technology where TWO modems are used to connect to the ISP simultanously. There was even a internal modem card with two built-in modems. It basically doubles the available bandwidth by using two telephone lines. I have experimented with this and it does work. Downside, you need two phone lines.

hindi. i browse using my laptop... here is what i do...
1. i've connected my nokia 3g phone to my laptop using USB cable or bluetooth.
2. i've installed nokia pc suite.
3. configured nokia pc suite connection as USB cable or BT.
4. wait until pc suite recognizes the phone.
5. click the "connect to the Internet" button sa PC suite.
6. after its connected, i open mozilla firefox (my browser).
ayun connected...that simple.
but make sure that your phone is already GPRS/WAP/MMS/3g configured before doing the above steps.
