Oh really? Have you forgotten that the WRX and FXT used to be priced under 2M (2017 price). These two are rated at 6-7 seconds for a 0-100kmh sprint. The Civic RS at 1.5M now is at 7 seconds. The Accord 2.4L and Mazda6 are good for around 8 seconds and so with Focus Ecoboost, Mazda3 2.0R, and Jetta 2.0L.
Based on my daily drives, the Accent diesel is as good as the Fiesta Ecoboost on a sprint. There are a few very aggressive Accent CRDI drivers in SLEX. These two are not there yet compared to those cars below 2M.

Did something earlier after the toll booth arms raised to let me pass. It was around 6+ seconds from 0-60kmh on the stopwatch.
I will try the FXT tomorrow using the app as I have just installed it. Will do another test on the Fiesta next week.

The Accent CRDI has decent performance for something below 1M but it would not match-up to the turbo compacts or more powerful 4-bangers.
For something just over 1M, the Focus Ecoboost is the quickest and fastest ride you can buy. You have to spend a lot more (500k+) to have around 170-180hp on tap for a ride.
